Karin Luciano’s River-Crossing Gallery opened in 2004. It is situated right in the heart of Margaret River next to the Visitor Centre, within the Quest Apartments. The gallery is staffed from 10am-4pm daily, and usually open from 7am – 7pm.
The main gallery is upstairs and paintings are also exhibited in the foyer and the conference room gallery, showcasing over 50 original works.
Paintings displayed in the Quest apartments are also for sale. If you see a painting on my website that you like, I will need to have a minimum of 2 days notification to retrieve the painting from the apartment and display it in the gallery for your viewing.
River-Crossing Gallery offers extended payment terms whereby clients are able to ease their budgetary challenges through extending their payments over six months.
At the time of purchase we ask clients to make a first payment of 40% of the price of the artwork, provide a current credit card and the take it home with them that day.
Our administration office will draw down the balance over six equal amounts, interest-free, from the nominated credit card at the end of each month. The full payment of the freight will need to be paid if the painting is to be shipped.
A Valuation Certificate will be provided on completion of the payment schedule.
River-Crossing Gallery has proudly exported artwork to the UK, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, Africa, USA and a multitude of destinations within Australia.
In order to ensure that artwork arrives in a safe and timely manner, River-Crossing Gallery has forged alliances with specialty freight on-forwarders and packing services. These services also provide insurance.
To date we haven’t experienced any problems whatsoever in exporting artwork on behalf of our clients to any destination.
Please note that export sales are GST exempt and the appropriate documentation is prepared by the Gallery to reflect this for those clients wishing to take artwork overseas.
The very best of craftsmanship is also displayed in the gallery featuring exclusively Margaret River artists.
Showcased are Dilkes-Hoffman Ceramics with their trademark gold Arabian lustre glaze ceramics creating forms in vases, bowls, jugs and olive boats.
Unique sculptured woodcraft from Kim Vulich and Darrin Wood is displayed, complimented with Jarrah tables by Robin Fletcher.
Riverdog Designer, Linney Thompson presents her stunning pearl jewellery range. The jewellery collection is completed with Joyce Martin’s Oriental influenced jewellery and her sought after pearl lasso and semi-precious gemstone necklaces.
A regular donation from River-Crossing Gallery goes toward assisting student monk Jampe Tsering, aged 14 and the Tibetan Gyuto Monks living in Ramoche Monastery in Sidbari Dharamsala, North India. The donation will also help assist in the documentation of traditional Tibetan arts and oral stories from the last remaining senior monks of Tibet.
We continue our relationship by correspondence with the humble, generous, gracious and joyful monks of Tibet who rely 100% on donations to fulfil their basic needs, having been living in exile in northern India since the invasion of Tibet in 1959.
I look forward to meeting you soon. Families and children are welcome.
Come in and be delighted and put River-Crossing Gallery on your must see
