“Dance of Expansion” grew from a meditative process—where gold, ink, and textured gestures moved through me in layers until the forms revealed themselves. Depending on how one looks, these rising shapes may appear as abstracted flowers blooming with life, as elegant wine glasses lifted in celebration, or as two kindred souls standing side by side in quiet communion.
I love how the ambiguity invites personal interpretation. For me, it speaks to the duality of intimacy and individuality, the energetic pulse between beings, and the invisible architecture of connection. The gold leaf—some 24ct, some subtly varied in tone—catches and refracts light like moments of epiphany.
The leather paper offers a tactile depth, while the custom Italian Bellini frame and museum-quality glass give the piece a timeless presence. Each detail, from the fine craftsmanship to the interplay of forms, honours both mystery and expansion.
