This work is a declaration from the deepest part of my being—a visual invocation of courage, surrender, and sacred transformation. I see the phoenix not just as myth, but as a living presence within me, one I have chosen to trust and rise with.
As I painted, I felt myself becoming the bird—its contours forming through layers of cobalt, turquoise, silver, and gold. Each stroke was a breath, a memory, a vow. Its eye—sharp, unwavering—mirrors my own resolve to look ahead, to navigate unknown skies with soul-led focus.
At the center of its chest, I embedded the Flower of Life—a sacred geometric heartbeat. To me, it represents the blueprint of existence, the pulse of all creation, and the reminder that I carry ancient wisdom in the very core of my being.
Surrounding the phoenix, swirling lines emerged like smoke or spirit—language beyond words, energetic codes that rose as offerings, affirmations, and whispers from realms unseen. Beneath, I painted a golden cradle—part offering, part threshold. It is where I chose to step in, to say yes, to ride the myth rather than be burned by it.
Determined to Ride on the Back of the Phoenix is my soul’s declaration: I am no longer afraid of transformation. I am choosing to rise, guided by the sacred, enfolded by geometry, and lifted by the fire of my own becoming.
