Triptych with Love Series I and II
In Love Series III, I explore the multifaceted nature of love—romantic, ancestral, and soul-connected. Three fluid, interwoven hearts emerge, each echoing a different frequency of affection, intimacy, and devotion. Through them, a shimmering silver arrow cuts diagonally across the canvas—a Cupid’s arrow—a divine spark. It symbolizes that moment of sudden knowing, when love strikes unannounced and transforms everything.
The surface—gilded in gold leaf and etched with time-worn patinas and texture—holds space for the imperfections that make love beautiful. Scratches, layers, and ghosted forms speak to the unseen stories behind each connection. In the background, a fourth heart delicately rendered in blue pearl-dot work hovers like an ancestral echo or the imprint of a love that transcends the physical.
This piece is a celebration of love’s many dimensions: its mystery, its memory, and its eternal arrow aimed at the heart.
