A gateway stands open—silent, monumental, and golden. The form echoes a cloaked figure, temple doorway, or scriptural scroll. At its base, a lone dark glyph—a keeper, a self—enters the unknown. Above, a crescent hovers like an eclipsed moon or a watching eye. The entire surface is built with intention: gold leaf laid down, scraped back, weathered, and re-layered to mirror the process of spiritual unveiling. The gold is not just reflective—it is ritual. It holds the charge of reverence and quiet anticipation. This work is a meditation on thresholds: the silent moment before stepping through, when mystery stirs and something sacred calls. The portal does not shout. It listens.
a golden, temple-like form stands at the edge of knowing. A lone glyph approaches—a figure, a soul, a symbol of readiness. The surface is built from layers of gold and pigment, burnished and cracked intentionally to allow the light to emerge from within. The portal is quiet, sacred. It doesn’t demand entry. It waits.
