“Where Epiphany Meets Majesty” is a radiant, transcendent work — a fusion of vision, reverence, and surrender to the numinous. As I painted, I felt something ancient moving through me. Emerging from a cascade of jewel-toned florals and celestial blues, a serene face took form — luminous, timeless, and gently held by crimson hands. This figure doesn’t rise from the earth, but from within a spiritual bloom — crowned in poppies, golden crosses, and bursts of symbolic light.
The work is deeply rooted in my Transylvanian heritage. I see the figure as a priestess, guardian, or ancestor — rising from layers of story and soil, reaching through time from the Carpathian mountains. Around her, sacred marks shimmer like codes of remembrance, and the poppy fields suggest both life and loss — beauty braided with the bittersweet.
This painting is a portal. It invites stillness. It speaks to the space where grief softens into grace, and where the sacred becomes visible — where epiphany meets majesty.
